Oppo launched the Oppo F35 in India on October 5, 2026, with sales starting on October 11. The phone starts at ₹38,999 ($402) and leads with two things: a big 8,000mAh battery and a wide 50MP selfie camera. A pricier Oppo F35 Pro launched alongside it.
If you live in Nigeria, you still have to wait for a local launch date. This guide covers the confirmed Indian model, its price, and how it compares with the Oppo F33 and the F35 Pro. We checked all prices and availability as of October 7, 2026.
Key details at a glance
Release date
- Launch date: October 5, 2026, in India.
- Sale date: October 11, 2026.
- Where it sells: Oppo’s India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon.in, and offline shops.
- First market: India. Oppo has confirmed launch details for India alone so far.
The launch marks ten years of the F series in India. The line began with the Oppo F1 in 2016, and Oppo now sells the F35 as its “Group Selfie Expert.”
Every other country needs its own announcement from Oppo or an approved local seller. Treat any date you see for Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, or South Africa as unconfirmed until Oppo says so.

How the price compares with the Oppo F33
The Oppo F33 launched on April 15, 2026, at ₹31,999 ($330). The F35 costs ₹7,000 ($72) more for the 6GB version and ₹8,000 ($82) more for the 8GB version. That is a big jump in under six months. These are launch prices, so shop prices today can differ.
Oppo F35 price in Nigeria
Oppo has not yet announced a Nigerian price or launch date. Oppo’s Nigerian website showed no F35 listing when we checked on October 7.
You can convert the Indian price to naira for a rough estimate, but exchange rates move frequently and local sellers will likely charge more. Importers factor in shipping, duties, exchange-rate costs and their own margins.
Detailed specs
1. Display
- 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with a 2372 x 1080 resolution
- Refresh rate that adjusts up to 120Hz
- 1,400 nits in high brightness mode
- Crystal Guard glass with a fingerprint reader under the screen
The refresh rate is how many times the screen redraws each second. A higher number makes scrolling look smoother. Your apps and power settings decide which rate the phone uses.
2. Chipset and memory
- MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX chipset
- 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM
- 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage
- A memory card slot for extra space
Take note of the chipset. The F33 uses the same one, so you get the same level of power as the older phone. If you play heavy games, wait for reviewer test results before you buy.
3. Cameras
- 50MP main rear camera (f/1.9)
- 2MP monochrome rear camera (f/2.4)
- 50MP selfie camera with a 100-degree view and autofocus
- Rear video at 1080p and 60fps, front video at 1080p and 30fps
The wide selfie camera is the headline feature. It fits more people into one shot, so you can take group selfies at arm’s length. Autofocus keeps faces sharp as people move closer or farther away.
Oppo says 2.5K video at 30fps for the front and rear cameras arrives through a software update. If you need that mode, check that the update has reached your phone. The 4K video you see in Oppo’s adverts belongs to the F35 Pro.
4. Battery and charging
- 8,000mAh battery
- 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging
- 1% to 19% in ten minutes, based on Oppo’s lab tests
- 1% to 45% in thirty minutes, based on Oppo’s lab tests
- 10W wired reverse charging, so your phone can top up another device
Your results depend on how you use the phone. Screen brightness and weak network signal both drain power faster. Reviews will show how long the battery lasts in daily use.
5. Design and durability
- About 8.8mm thick
- About 205g in weight
- IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings
- A pill-shaped camera bar that runs across the back
The phone comes in Wave Blue and Titanium Grey. You can also pick Mist Pink.
The IP68 test covers fresh water at a depth of 1.5 metres for thirty minutes. The other ratings cover dust and strong water jets. Oppo still tells you to keep the phone out of seawater and to avoid dunking it on purpose. Water resistance can also drop as the phone ages. Dry the phone before you charge it.
6. Software and updates
Oppo’s spec page lists ColorOS 16 and leaves out the Android version. 91mobiles reports that the phone runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top.
Oppo has yet to state how many Android upgrades or years of security patches the F35 gets. Confirm the update policy before you treat this as a long-term phone.
You may see a “smooth for years” claim in Oppo’s adverts. Read the fine print. For 128GB phones like the F35, Oppo says up to five years of smooth use, based on lab tests. That claim covers speed. It makes no promise about software updates.
The phone also ships with AI tools for scanning documents and editing photos. Some tools depend on your region or arrive in later updates.
7. Connectivity and box contents
- Two physical SIM slots with 5G
- Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4
- A single speaker
- NFC and eSIM are both missing on the Indian model
The box includes a charger, a USB cable, a case, and a SIM ejector tool.
Oppo F35 vs Oppo F33, what changed
What is new on the F35:
- A bigger battery, up from 7,000mAh to 8,000mAh
- A much sharper and wider selfie camera, up from 16MP to 50MP
- A heavier body, up by about 16g
- A higher price, up by ₹7,000 ($72) to ₹8,000 ($82)
What stays the same:
- The Dimensity 6360 MAX chipset
- The 6.57-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen
- 80W charging
- The 50MP and 2MP rear cameras
If you own an F33, ask yourself two questions. Do you take a lot of group selfies? Does your battery run out before the day ends? If you answer yes to both, the F35 offers a clear upgrade. If you answer no, keep your F33.
Oppo F35 vs Oppo F35 Pro
The Pro costs ₹7,000 ($72) more at the base level. Its top version, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, sells for ₹54,999 ($567). Here is what the extra money buys you:
- A newer and faster chipset
- A bigger, sharper screen with a 144Hz refresh rate
- A steadier main camera with OIS, plus an ultrawide rear camera
- 4K video on the front and rear cameras
Both phones share the same 8,000mAh battery with 80W charging and the same selfie camera. The standard F35 also keeps one thing the Pro drops: the memory card slot.
