Backed by $9m research capital, JET Motor Company wants to build ‘Tesla of Africa’

JET Motor Company, a Nigerian auto-manufacturer that designs and builds vehicles for African roads, has announced raising $9m from Canadian-based Africa Development Capital (ADC), among others, to build Africa's first all-electric vehicle.
